Best burger I have had in a long time. Decent selection of drafts. Some idiots came in on a Sunday during football to play pool and kept feeding the jute box which was louder than any tv in the place. They have the NFL package and enough tvs to display all the games.

Went there with brother and his friend to hang out. They have four pool tables available for $1 per game. They have several TVs running in the bar area. The ambiance is that of a typical sports bar. I ordered onion rings which were delicious. My brother ordered the steak wraps and his friend ordered teriyaki chicken bites. I tasted each and they tasted like frozen food products. I did not care for either. It is a bar not a restaurant so..... They have an outdoor patio available with seating for smokers or relaxing. It was nice enough. I would go back.

Stopped in with my friend Joe and few others on motorcycles,the place was great,beer was cold, the bartendereas excellent,quick and efficient, the food came out fast and was very tasty,the atmosphere was quiet so you could have a conversation between the group great place to stop on RT 12,heading to Jewitt City or in that direction
My recommendation is to stop and have something to eat and have a cold one

Happy Jack’s Pub popped up on a recent Google search for pubs in the northern CT area. Burger w/fries along the 3 pretzels with beer cheese app were delish We brought home garlic pepper wings for the kids - air fried w/perfect crispy crunch - wicked good! Kim is on top of her game providing us with great and friendly service. Happy Jack’s is a keeper - we will return! John + Joy of Dudley, MA

Just came from Happy Jack's from a birthday party and the food was amazing! We certainly can't eat like that anywhere else for the same money, and it was ready in no time. Definitely going back.

Happy Jack's is always a fun time! Not only is it great for the people, drinks, and atmosphere, but it's also my favorite place for my band Roc-Kin-On to play! :) Steve is great, as is all the staff.

I always have fun here and I started playing APA pool matches here on Tuesday nights for the spring session. Great staff... Pool tabes, darts, music, horseshoe pits... my only wish is that they had a wider selection of beers and something a bit more crafty than Sam's seasonal offering.

So I finally made it here and I'll be back. Got the Arugula with Chicken and it was yummy. Lemony, but yummy. Prices seem steep for Plainfield, but whatevs, it was worth it.

This place is exactly what you expect for a sports bar. It has pool tables, darts, even horseshoes outside and different sports on their many tvs. There's a dj for the weekend and they play just the right music. Good choice of beers on tap and in bottles. The bartenders are awesome and entertaining. They have a short but great menu. Had their make your own sampler an it was huge and tasty! Mac n cheese bites yes please! Our bartenders served us quick and with yummy mixed drinks especially their pistachio shots! Anytime I'm in Plainfield this is the place for me!

I visited Happy Jacks for my first time a couple of weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I are always looking to play pool but the options for places we have locally are scarce. We never knew about Happy Jacks until now and we are very happy we found it! The customer service, food, and drinks were all top notch. I could see us visiting regularly.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent drinks. Excellent bartender. What more can you ask for?
